Built by the Trades.
Strengthened by Community.

Cape Fear’s growth depends on skilled tradespeople. When development halts, jobs, families, and our local economy are affected. The Cape Fear Trades Alliance supports policies that protect both progress and the people who build it.

Building The Future

The Cape Fear Trades Alliance champions the skilled trades as the backbone of our region’s growth. Through advocacy, education, and community engagement, we promote policies that empower construction and homebuilding professionals, raise awareness of their vital contributions, and support leaders who prioritize a strong, future-ready workforce.

From permit delays, excessive fees, costly regulations and inconsistent code requirements, these barriers are slowing down construction and driving up prices – impacting families, neighbors and first-time homebuyers across the Cape Fear Region.
